2026 Instructors
Kate Lynn
We are welcoming Kate Lynn to Pine as a Lead Coach this year! She has spent the last ten years sailing at the Oshkosh Yacht Club and the last two summers as a lead coach there. Kate's favorite part of coaching is watching students grow in their skills and confidence on the water. Currently, Kate sails M15s, E Scows, and I20s, and she has raced X boats and Optis in the past. Kate will be joining us partway through the season after she returns from a study abroad program in Japan.

Zoe Morgan
Zoe returns to Pine in 2026!
"Hey everyone, my name is Zoë!! This will be my fifth year coaching! I’ve been sailing since I was around 6 years old on Lac La Belle and love it!! I grew up also sailing in many different places but my favorite will always be Wisconsin! I’m currently a student at the University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in Media Production! I love sailing and kids so what job could be better!! Can’t wait to see familiar faces and to meet new ones!"
Henry Ackley
Pine Lake local Henry Ackley continues to lead at Pine as a racing coach.
He is an accomplished Opti and X-boat sailor. Henry loved racing his Opti and competed in two international regattas in Italy and Spain. He participated in numerous X-boat regattas and experienced success finishing second in 2021 ILYA Champs as well as local victories over the years in the Xtreme and Quad Lakes regattas. Sailing began for Henry on North Lake and continued on Pine Lake.
Henry continues to enjoy sailing in various fleets like the E and M15!
Alina Fadel
"I have been skipping sailboats for 9 years on Labelle. This year I will be tackling skipping my dad’s C scow. My favorite memories of sailing include getting to have my brother as a crew in X boats and I’m looking forward to watching him skip the X boat this year. My favorite regatta is the TRAP regatta and I look forward to getting to coach on Pine Lake. I have been season champion along with winning multiple different race series on Labelle."
